Established in 1977, the Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) has evolved into one of the most prestigious amateur basketball programs in the country. Founded by Head Coach Leo Papile, the BABC has much to be proud of having won 17 National Championships and capturing 99 gold medals in the AAU New England competitions.
Over the years BABC has produced some of the most outstanding athletes in the Massachusetts area. This organization prides itself on developing young boys into accomplished men. Almost all players have gone on to colleges with scholarships in basketball, sports management, and football programs since 1977. Through the years the team has seen our boys go on to be NBA players and coaches, Euroleague players, and work in may other facets of the game.
The Boston Amateur Basketball Club is one of the 12 pilot programs selected to join USA Basketball's Youth Development Division.
